Tbilisi, Georgia Scopes Meeting:: Recent research activities and new results about the regional geology, the geodynamics and the metallogeny of the Caucasus and the Balkans; May 27-28, 2009
This event is being organised by under the Scopes program, with the support of the Swiss National Science Foundation, the University of Geneva and Georgian Government and scientific organisations. The Program and Abstracts (below) very intersting and for those in the region this should be an outstanding event. (Not an SEEGF event)

Belgrade, Serbia: University of Belgrade and Micromine:: NEW developments in 3D geological modelling & mine production software. Tuesday June 2nd, 2009.
You are invited to attend an informative ONE DAY SEMINAR on new tools and techniques for the Serbian exploration and mining industry. The focus of the seminar will be 3D geology, mine modelling and mine production software which lowers costs, drives production and increases productivity. The software and related consultancy services also allow for the effective use of historical data, as well as the ability to generate JORC and other internationally recognised compliant resource estimations. This is not an SEEGF event - we are pleased to assist the orgniasers in bring this to your attention.
